- Yes, it will. To be fair, this strap is a better strap than the 2 first design straps that I owned. But it isn't as comfortable. The area where they added the different type material on the back side just irritates me somewhat. It itches or scratches me a bit wearing it. It may not do that to everyone, and it isn't always noticeable, but occasionally it does bother me. I have since purchased a polar replacement strap which also works with the garmin HRM sensors, and it has been much more reliable and comfortable. I can't say that this strap went bad though, as I did replace the battery in the HRM before installing it on the polar strap, and that could have been all that was wrong this time, unlike the 2 first design garmin straps that went bad.answered on 2015-03-02 00:00:00
